The 47th European U-20 championship will be held in Viareggio / Italy
The 47th European U-20 championship will be held in Viareggio / Italy from 20 to 25 September 2010.
The event will be attended by eight countries divided into two groups of four, which play a qualifying round, followed by the Finals will determine the new champion Junior. [+]
Ladies U-20 Championship will be played by 5 teams
Due to the withdrawal of Portugal, Ladies U-20 Championship will be played by 5 teams
The Leistungszentrum Darmstadt (Sports Hall of Darmstadt), will receive from 20th to 23rd October 2010, the 4th Ladies U-20 European Championship, that counts with the presence of England, France, Germany, Spain and Swiss. [+]
EUROPEAN LEAGUE 2010 / 2011
The Groups Phase of the European League will take place from 20 November 2010 onwards.
The 16 clubs coming from among the National Champions of each Country, the titleholder of the Champions’ League and the finalist Club, the winner and runner-up of the CERS Cup 2009/2010, and the remaining teams, until reaching the total number of 16, as qualified by their place on the European Clubs’ Ranking. EUROPEAN CLUBS SEASON
As the clubs competition season 2009/2010 is now over, it is a good time for a brief balance of the most important things that happened. For yet another year the Spanish teams have taken “home” all the trophies in dispute, so that we may conclude Spain’s ascendancy in European hockey, with little interference from Italian clubs, a title for Follonica in the European League in 2006, and in 2005, the CERS Cup. To find other winners we have to go back a few more years on the calendar. [+]
